Australia v India at Melbourne 3rd Test - Day 3 Stumps

Australia v India at Melbourne 3rd Test - Day 3 Stumps

Australia 530 India 462/8 (126.2 ov) India trail by 68 runs with 2 wickets remaining in the 1st innings

Kohli-Rahane magic puts India in a decent position.

Star batsman Virat Kohli who was in sublime touch seemed to be invincible, and India would have wished their premier batsman to take the game to the hosts on the penultimate morning. However a rather ineffectual Mitchell Johnson, got the Delhi batsman to edge behind in the last over of the day as India ended their day at 462/8, still 68 runs adrift of Australia's total of 530.Ajinkya Rahane and Kohli took the game by the scruff of the neck, but eventually the hosts ended up with a slight edge.
