Kerala Blasters to Launch Football Schools in Kerala in association with Prodigy Sportz

Kerala Blasters associates with Prodigy Sportz to launch Grassroots Program in April. 

       After a remarkably successful first season in the Indian Super League, Kerala BlastersFC has unveiled its broad plans for football development in the state. Blasters, the ISL runners up, have joined hands with Prodigy Sportz as its grassroots partner to run the program in Kerala

       Kerala Blasters confronted the demons once again and at the most  inopportune time.The inability to find the net despite dominating the  game and creating numerous opportunities caused Blasters to eat humble  pie in the end.It was the most heartrending result for the team who  were the better team by miles throughout the match.But in the end  Mohammed Rafique shot a bullet that pierced right through the heart of  Blasters,as Athletico de Kolkata became the first Indian Super League  winners. In the final minute of injury time Athletico de Kolkata  produced what mattered. A brilliant header from Rafique from a corner  kick ended Kerala's night in a tearful manner.

 At last Kerala Blasters gave full expression of their attacking flair and in front of a huge home crowd they drubbed Chennaiyin FC,by 3-0,in the first leg of the first semifinal match of the Indian Super League.

It was exciting from the word as the Blasters unleashed some fabulous aggressive soccer.The inability to score goals which had haunted the home team was not repeated this time.A superb first time finish by Ishfaq sent the crowd into raptures in the 26 th minute. Before they could settle down Ian Hume scored another one to make it 2-0. But the icing on the cake was the stunning goal by Keralite Sushanth Mathew in the injury time.The 3-0 victory has given the
Blasters a huge advantage going into the second leg at Chennai.

Kerala Blasters held their nerve and scraped through to a narrow 1-0 win over a fighting Pune City FC in their last Indian Super League match at Kochi. Kerala Blasters must consider themselves lucky as they  weathered a relentless assault from the Pune team. Ian Hume scored the  all important goal in the 23 rd minute.But the real hero is the  Blasters goalkeeper Sandeep Nandi who made innumerable saves.
