Ananya- Kailash pair together again in 'Kalyanism'.

'Kalyanism' scripted and directed by newcomer Anuram is scheduled to release on March 6.The movie will see the young pair of Kailash and Ananya together again.The duo had earlier acted together in the hit movie 'Shikkar','Oru small family' etc.The film is a woman centric one and is shot exclusively in Dubai.

The film, is being produced under the banner of Four Films productions.The director himself has done the script of the movie which is loaded with family sentiments. Mukesh, Kailash, Kochupreman, Sphadikam George, Soorya Prakash and others include actor's list. Binu Pallickal handles the camera, while editing has been done by Praveen.Udayan Nemom has done the makeup and stills are by Suresh Kaniyapuram. Rajesh Mohan composes the music the lyrics of Binu Sreekottur.

Lalisom will endear itself to music lovers and Lal fans.

Yes, is coming. Mohanlal the superstar of the masses who is a multifaceted genius is set to enthral one and all his music band which will debut at the inaugural ceremony of the National Games.

‘Lalisom – The Lal Effect’, with Ratheesh Vega one of the most promising young musician of our generation. It will be a musical travelogue with hologram effects and is produced by JT Pac’.The show is planned to showcase the film career of the genius star, including presentation of moments from his films and also songs from his films. Mohanlal had sung the song Aattumanal… from the hit movie Run Baby Run. Ratheesh Vega had composed the song. The hero has sung several hit numbers over the years and as a singer he has proven many times. The show will be performed at various stages from early next year.

Bomb threat to Chennai theatre over 'Yennai Arindhaal' release !

Udhayam Cinemas on Tuesday received a bomb threat against the release of Ajith Kumar-starrer Tamil actioner-thriller ‘Yennai Arindhaal’, which is slated for release Feb 5. "We received an anonymous letter last night. It was a bomb threat warning us to not release 'Yennai Arindhaal'. It has been reported to the police and they're investigating," source from Udhayam Cinemas said.

The police is investing the reason behind the threat. Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, the film also features Trisha Krishnan and Anushka Shetty in the lead.

There are unconfirmed reports from Kollywood that star actress Nayanthara may not be part of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Atlee directed untitled movie. Though reasons are not exactly clear rumour mongers have attributed this to Nayans' festering ego clash with new sensation Amy Jackson.

Some people say that Amy pulled the strings in getting Nayans out of film. Atlee who is a hitmaker must be in a tight spot in this matter and some reports suggest that Samantha may replace Nayans. The exact reason for the indifferent equation between two glamour queens is not known

Thala Ajith's next movie confirmed.

Tamil superstar Thala Ajith Kumar is getting ready for an emotional thriller after “Yennai Arindhaal”. Well known producer A.M.Rathnam is behind the new project as well. He said“My next film will also be with Ajith sir. Director Siva will at the helm of it. More information about the project will be shared post the release of our film ‘Yennai Arindhaal’,” Rathnam told reporters. Siva had directed Ajith in last year’s hit “Veeram”.

About “Yennai Arindhaal”, which is slated for a Feb 5 release, Rathnam said: “It will be a perfect entertainer for Ajith’s fans. He will be there in every frame.”Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, “Yennai Arindhaal” also features Trisha Krishnan and Anushka Shetty.“It will be a character-driven story. All of us thoroughly enjoyed working with Ajith. As reported by a section of media, there aren’t two climaxes in the film. Besides all the action, there are two lovely romantic tracks and great music,” Menon said.

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan who was chosen for the prestigious Padma Vibhushan award expressed his extreme ecstasy through his blog. This is seventh Padma award for the Bachchan family. On his blog, the BigB wrote, "The Government of India has decorated me with the highest Padma Award of the country, the Padma Vibhushan. I have no words to express my gratitude to the powers that be and am most humbled and overwhelmed by the generosity of the people that decide or sit on judgment on this. "There are totally now 7 Padma Awards in the family. My Father - the Padma Shree and the Padma Bhushan; Jaya- Padma Shree; Aishwarya - Padma Shree; Amitabh Bachchan - Padma Shree, Bhushan and Vibhushan. 'Lingaa' disaster-Rajinikanth gets into action.

Superstar Rajinikanth has made an inquiry with a distributor regarding the list of people who've incurred loses for his latest release 'Lingaa'. Before 'Lingaa', the last time Rajini set into motion with such a measure was for his movies 'Baba' and 'Kuselan' both of which bombed.

Back then too Rajini had instructed one 'Tirupur' Subramaniam regarding the estimate of losses the distributors had incurred. The hope of the distributors' camp is that after hearing news about Rajini stepping up finally, they may be compensated for the losses they suffered.
