Thala Ajith apologizes to Vidyullekha Raman !

Ajith kumar who just lately was gifted with a baby boy has once again found him self in the headlines.
Thala Ajith's Yennai Arindhal Directed by Gautham Menon, has Completed 25 days in Screens. In the mean time Vidyullekha Raman, who was also a Co star in the Movie 'Veeram' had wished the star in advance of the release of 'Yennai Arindhaal'.Ajith however, had responded to her only recently and has also apologized for being delay.
The young actress tweeted,
"Woke up to an sms sent by Thala. Had wished him all the best for #YennaiArindhaal & he replies now apologising for delay. What a star.. Wow"

Bomb threat to Chennai theatre over 'Yennai Arindhaal' release !

Udhayam Cinemas on Tuesday received a bomb threat against the release of Ajith Kumar-starrer Tamil actioner-thriller ‘Yennai Arindhaal’, which is slated for release Feb 5. "We received an anonymous letter last night. It was a bomb threat warning us to not release 'Yennai Arindhaal'. It has been reported to the police and they're investigating," source from Udhayam Cinemas said.

The police is investing the reason behind the threat. Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, the film also features Trisha Krishnan and Anushka Shetty in the lead.

Nayanthara out of Vijay's Atlee directed movie?

Nayanthara out of Vijay's Atlee directed movie?
There are unconfirmed reports from Kollywood that star actress Nayanthara may not be part of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Atlee directed untitled movie. Though reasons are not exactly clear rumour mongers have attributed this to Nayans' festering ego clash with new sensation Amy Jackson.

Some people say that Amy pulled the strings in getting Nayans out of film. Atlee who is a hitmaker must be in a tight spot in this matter and some reports suggest that Samantha may replace Nayans. The exact reason for the indifferent equation between two glamour queens is not known

Muktha as Santhanam's heroine in 'VSOP'.

Young actress Muktha who established as an actress of calibre right from the early days of her career is getting busy in Tamil movies now a days. She will be next seen as the pair of Santhanam in a movie titled 'Vasuvum Sivanum Onna Padichavanka' a.k.a 'VSOP'. The M.Rajesh directed movie has Arya and Tamannah in lead roles. Muktha shot to fame in Tamil through the movie 'Thamarabharani' opposite Vishal.

Thala Ajith's next movie confirmed.

Tamil superstar Thala Ajith Kumar is getting ready for an emotional thriller after “Yennai Arindhaal”. Well known producer A.M.Rathnam is behind the new project as well. He said“My next film will also be with Ajith sir. Director Siva will at the helm of it. More information about the project will be shared post the release of our film ‘Yennai Arindhaal’,” Rathnam told reporters. Siva had directed Ajith in last year’s hit “Veeram”.

About “Yennai Arindhaal”, which is slated for a Feb 5 release, Rathnam said: “It will be a perfect entertainer for Ajith’s fans. He will be there in every frame.”Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, “Yennai Arindhaal” also features Trisha Krishnan and Anushka Shetty.“It will be a character-driven story. All of us thoroughly enjoyed working with Ajith. As reported by a section of media, there aren’t two climaxes in the film. Besides all the action, there are two lovely romantic tracks and great music,” Menon said.

'Lingaa' disaster-Rajinikanth gets into action.

Superstar Rajinikanth has made an inquiry with a distributor regarding the list of people who've incurred loses for his latest release 'Lingaa'. Before 'Lingaa', the last time Rajini set into motion with such a measure was for his movies 'Baba' and 'Kuselan' both of which bombed.

Back then too Rajini had instructed one 'Tirupur' Subramaniam regarding the estimate of losses the distributors had incurred. The hope of the distributors' camp is that after hearing news about Rajini stepping up finally, they may be compensated for the losses they suffered.

Yennai Arindhaal release may be delayed for a week.

Thala Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal appears to have hit some roadblocks ahead of its release.The Censor Board is yet to certify the film, and there might be a delay of another week or so to release in theatres on 5th February.It is heard that the certification process was still under way for 'Yennai Arindhaal' and that yesterday was the initially planned day for the film getting certified.

However,it is also heard that 'Yennai Arindhaal' has been given a clean U/A certificate without any cuts. If the sources are to be believed, producer AM Ratnam and Gautham Menon are in talks with censor board for clean U certificate. The viewers may have to wait a little for the final certificate and the release date.Yennai Arindhaal has Anushka, Trisha, Arun Vijay, Vivek inpivotal roles. Harris Jayaraj is the music director.
